The Rust Belt Concert Rig
**The Rust Belt** in East Moline, Illinois, is a premier 3,500-capacity live music venue converted from a historic industrial warehouse. With steel trusses, high corrugated ceilings, and wide masonry walls, the venue presented severe acoustic reflection challenges that commercial off-the-shelf speaker rigs failed to control.
RS Speakers designed and built a tailored, high-SPL system specifically for this room's physical layout. We deployed our flagship MPT Line Array boxes, configured to cover the entire concrete floor while focusing high frequencies away from the highly reflective upper steel trusses.
To support massive national acts, we loaded the stage with a custom block of 22 of our heavy 21-inch subwoofers. This provides a deep, balanced, physical low-end extension. The result is a smooth, high-definition soundscape throughout the venue, earning stellar praise from national touring sound engineers.

Midwest Festival Deployments
Live music festivals are the ultimate proving ground for loudspeaker durability and fidelity. For over ten seasons, our MPT Line Arrays, S18 subwoofers, and M-14a stage monitors have powered the main stages at landmark regional festivals including Camp Euforia in Lone Tree, Iowa.
Faced with extreme summer temperatures, outdoor humidity, and sudden rainstorms, our marine-grade Baltic Birch cabinets, hydrophobic protective grilles, and robust polyurea weatherproof coatings have performed with zero acoustic degradation or physical failures. Artists and sound directors consistently praise the flat, natural crossover tuning and exceptional vocal definition of our stage wedge packages.
