When we couldn't find commercial loudspeaker options that met our rigorous standards for phase accuracy, high-frequency definition, and tactile low-end, we decided to manufacture our own. Every RS Speakers cabinet is hand-built, wired, and tested in our facility.
🌲 Premium Baltic Birch Plywood
Unlike off-the-shelf commercial speakers that rely on cheap MDF, plastic molded bodies, or particle boards, every RS Speakers cabinet is constructed from premium multi-ply Baltic Birch plywood. This dense, high-grade hardwood prevents cabinet flexing, resists moisture, and ensures acoustic resonance properties that plastic and composite boxes simply cannot replicate.
🛠️ Dado-Joint & Heavy Internal Bracing
To withstand the extreme physical forces of high-SPL concert touring and deep sub-bass excursion, we assemble our wood panels using interlocking dado-joint construction. We bond the joints with waterproof aliphatic glues and reinforce them with heavy-gauge mechanical fasteners. Internal bracing matrices are strategically modeled and positioned to eliminate cabinet vibrations, directing 100% of the acoustic energy out of the horn and woofer ports.

We source only the highest-caliber transducers, compression drivers, and voice coils from the world's most reputable manufacturers. Our passive systems utilize custom-engineered, heavy-duty crossover networks loaded with audiophile-grade capacitors and heavy-gauge inductors, preventing thermal compression. For active configurations, we load state-of-the-art DSP-controlled plate amplifiers to ensure absolute system protection, alignment, and maximum headroom.

Stainless-steel grilles, hydrophobic cloth backings, and sealed, recessed connection dishes ensure your rig operates flawlessly, even in wet and wild weather.
